ArtSho

ArtSho is the next piece of the equation. It is the physical connection between the artist and the customer. As you can see I've used the look of iTunes now to convey my idea of what this interface may look like. Of course in the future it would be redesigned but the basic idea is the same. As a customer you enter the "ArtSho" site, pick a show (out of maybe five regional shows) and browse through a group of say, 150 artists. If you see something you like you click on it and it redirects you to the artist's Etsy site where the work can be purchased. The details, such as how long a show will last, what the "booth fee" will be, etc. are all up for debate. But in general, the idea is to take a site, Etsy, that is already fairly well known, and use ArtSho as a way of weeding through all of the "vintage" items and craft items so that those who would like to purchase fine art have a place to do so more efficiently.
As I said this is a work is progress so if you have any suggestions please let me know.
